  Lloyd G. Hays Aug. 4, 2005 Lloyd G. Hays, 84, Oakley, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at Valley View Villa Nursing Home, Fort Morgan, Colo. He was born July 25, 1921, in Thomas County to Granville M. and Esther Ida (Ottken) Hays. He married Ruth M. Mather on Aug. 11, 1946, in Grinnell. He was a farmer-stockman. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Ronald Hays, Fort Morgan, and Stuart Hays, Junction City; a daughter, Janice Soderland, Parker, Colo.; three sisters, Wanda Summers, Oakley, LoRee Roemer, Castle Rock Colo., and Inez Miller, Delta, Iowa; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Daryl Hays. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Oakley; burial in the Oakley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley.
